MY PASSION

After 20 years of pastoring in local churches, I began working with a mission organization training African pastors in the poorest and most difficult regions of the world, including the Nyarugusu Refugee Camp, where I spent eleven summers. In over 40 trips to the continent of Africa, reaching and helping the ‘bottom billion’ of the planet – the most vulnerable people created in God’s image remains one of my greatest passions.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Adjunct Professor – The Kings University, Knox Theological Seminary, Colorado Christian University, AFMIN (Africa Ministries Network) – have personally taught and equipped over 8000 Africa pastors since 2000. New Life School of Worship, Desperation Leadership Academy, 24/7 Leadership Institute.

MINISTRY EXPERIENCE

Director, The Kings University, Colorado Springs, 2014 – present; Executive Director – Special Project, AFMIN, 1999 – present; Senior Pastor, Vineyard Christian Fellowship, Colorado Springs 1984-1999; Associate Pastor, Vineyard Christian Fellowship, Denver, 1982-1984; Associate Pastor, Calvary Chapel of Downey, California, 1979-1982; Police Chaplain: Montebello Police Department (CA), Adams County Sheriff’s Office (CO) 1979-1984.

President, Colorado Springs Association of Evangelicals 1994-1998; Evangelical Missiological Society; National Association of Evangelicals, Executive Leadership Team, AFMIN (Africa Ministries Network), 1999-present; Vice President, Ends of the Earth (mission organization dedicated to ministry to Muslims), 1997-2007; Director, Food For Orphans Board of Directors.

PERSONAL:

Linda and I have been married for 37 years and are especially enjoying our young grandchildren.
